The SuperBaiter does automatically:

• Cut the bait at a preset size
• Bait the hook

Automatic double baiting

The bait is placed on a conveyor chain which feeds it into the machine. When the hooks are pulled through the machine, the knife is triggered when the hook passes and the bait piece is cut. The hook is double baited before it is shot over the stern.

The SuperBaiter makes the bating much more stable. The baits are all equal size and the baiting percentage is way up - even in bad weather. There are less stops and my setting speed has increased with 1.5 knots, resulting in 4000 more hooks in the water each day. It has also resulted in much lower maintenance - both in time and spare parts.
