The fish hook production technology developed by Mathias Topp in 1877 is still the most efficient world wide.
The H3000 LineHauler pulls the gear from the sea over the rail roller and into the boat. It can be delivered as line hauler only, which then can be controlled manually by a valve at the rail. More common is a complete unit with hook cleaner, line retriever and LineController™.
In a complete unit the fish is removed and the hooks are pulled through the hook cleaner, which is located at the front of the line hauler. The hook cleaner will remove all remnants of fish and bait. This is done by means of rollers and brushes. In addition, the line and hooks are flushed with high pressure water.
The line retriever, synchronized with the line hauler, keeps constant tension on the gear to prevent slack and passes it through guide tubes to the hook separator.
H3000 is a compact and silent-going high-pressure line hauler. It is produced in heavy-duty stainless steel and has a pulling force on the capstan of 3.5 tons. H3000 is delivered with direct drive radial piston motor and aluminium composite sheaves.
