I June 2005, F/V Bristol Leader, one of the largest Longliner in the US was converted from a hand-baiting operation to be fully automated with a Deep Sea 2 system from Mustad. They have 70,000 hooks onboard along with Magpacker, Superbaiter, Hook separator, Mustad Hauler, fully integrated LineController, Circle hooks and 11.5mm Swivelgear.
