SuperHauler 3200
The Norfishing 2012 was used as a venue for launching a our new SuperHauler 3200, - a main line hauler with improved features and lower maintnance cost.
The prototype installed on the Norwegian longline vessel "Loran" is already in use and the first reports from the crew is very positive. The hauling speed is increased by 20% now hauling 55 hooks a minute due to larger sheeves and better hook cleaning. A new radial piston motor from Poclain gives much less noise resulting in a more pleasant working environment. Less wear and tear on the lines and the sheeves are added benefits.
